Principal’s message

Dear Families,

It is with great joy that I welcome you to this new school year—my first as Principal of Sainte-Jeanne-d’Arc School.

After having had the privilege of serving as Vice-Principal for seven wonderful years, I am honored to continue my commitment to your children and your family in this new role.

This year, we are welcoming nearly 320 students from Kindergarten to Grade 6. We also offer a Pre-Kindergarten program as well as before- and after-school care services.

Sainte-Jeanne-d’Arc School has been around for over 30 years. All staff members are committed, enthusiastic, and dedicated to providing rich and stimulating learning experiences. They care deeply about the success of every student. We are a dynamic team that values collaboration and mutual support in finding solutions to meet the needs of all our learners. Our Positive Behavior Support Program helps students meet school expectations and live in harmony with others. Through our words and actions, we encourage everyone in our school to live by our three core values: responsibility, respect, and engagement.

For several years now, we’ve offered an “options afternoon” to students in Grades 5 and 6. Classes in drama, coding, visual arts, and various sports give students opportunities to develop skills that will serve them throughout their lives.

We strongly encourage parent involvement in many aspects of school life. Whether it’s being part of the School Council or the Parent Society, accompanying classes on field trips, or volunteering in the classroom, we value and appreciate the support of all our parents.
