Principal’s message

Hello and welcome to our school!

After almost 10 years as assistant principal, I am very happy to be in charge of Ste-Jeanne-d'Arc school.

This year, we welcome nearly 340 students from kindergarten to grade 6. We also offer a preschool program and before and after school care.

Ste-Jeanne-d'Arc School has existed for more than 30 years. All staff members are committed, enthusiastic and dedicated to providing rich and stimulating learning experiences. They care about the success of each student. We form a dynamic team where the spirit of collaboration is at the rendezvous. We advocate a collaborative approach in order to help each other find solutions to meet all the needs of our students. Our Positive Behavior Support program helps students meet school expectations and live in harmony with others. Through our actions and our words, we encourage everyone in the school to live our three main values: responsibility, respect and commitment.

For several years, we have offered an afternoon of options to 5th and 6th graders. Classes in drama, coding, cooking, leadership (FJA-Francophonie Jeunesse en Action) and various sports allow young people to develop skills that will serve them throughout their lives. Fourth-year students also have the opportunity to take courses in dramatic arts.

We encourage the involvement of parents in various situations of school life. Whether it's being part of the School Council or the Parents' Society, assisting the class on field trips or volunteering in the classroom, we appreciate the support of all our parents.
